(You can use Scrabble letter tiles, plastic magnetic letters, or any type of individual letter products.) To practice, call the word out and have your spell the word using the letter. Try having your kids practicing their spelling by using letter tiles.This activity gets your kids thinking quickly while building their K word vocabulary. This is a fantastic way to get your kids identifying words that begin with K and building their letter recognition skills.Next, have your students come up with as many items or they can think of that begins with the letter K. When their brainstorm map is full of K objects, have them share their completed maps.
